CO2Stored 2.0 database

IDRIC’s CO2Stored 2.0 project has enabled the first major update of the data underpinning the UK national CO2 Storage database. The database contains detailed information on 631 prospective storage units offshore around the UK, in geological formations or hydrocarbon fields. The UK interactive database is a global leader in the provision of national online CO2 storage information. The data has been used as a starting point for commercial CO2 storage projects, for academic research and informs government strategy. Individuals are encouraged to register as a user, at no cost, to access the information.

This project was funded by IDRIC (under EPSRC award number: EP/V027050/1). The views and opinions expressed are those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of IDRIC. Neither IDRIC nor EPSRC can be held responsible for them.
