Our video project, ‘You Can’t Be What You Can’t See’, has been included in the newly launched UNESCO online compendium of practices to promote open and inclusive science.
This is a fantastic recognition of our ongoing commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in STEM. We have long been advocating for sharing knowledge and building communities of practice in this space, and the UNESCO compendium is a brilliant resource that aligns with these goals.
Our video project aims to inspire and empower young people from all backgrounds by highlighting diverse role models and showcasing the wide range of career paths within industrial decarbonisation and STEM. We believe that representation matters, and this initiative is a key part of our work to foster a more inclusive and equitable future. We hope this platform will inspire more conversations, collaborations, and actions towards a more equitable STEM landscape.
