Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies
This report examines the role of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies in both advancing industrial decarbonisation, and moving towards ‘negative emissions’ scenarios. It focuses on IDRIC-funded projects that explore innovative solutions such as biochar, bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), geochemical CDR and direct air capture (DAC). The report highlights key findings and offers recommendations for industry and policymakers to support a sustainable transition toward net zero.
