This article presents recent results from the PrISMa platform, which integrates materials design with process design and environmental considerations. This integration enables the customisation of carbon capture solutions tuned for local sources and sinks. The PrISMa project contributes to the evolution of flexible and efficient carbon capture technologies. It addresses the key challenge of coordinating experimentalists, theoreticians, and process engineers to accelerate the discovery, development, and deployment of novel advanced materials.
