Effective systems analysis, planning and decision-making tools are central to accelerating industrial decarbonisation and enabling the UK’s net zero ambitions. This report synthesises key research conducted through IDRIC, exploring the development and application of integrated modelling, scenario planning, artificial intelligence (AI) tools and stakeholder-informed frameworks to support industrial clusters in designing and implementing robust, data-driven decarbonisation strategies.
