Electrification
Replacing fossil fuels in industrial processes with zero or low-carbon electricity has the potential to make a very significant contribution to industrial decarbonisation. This report brings together insights from six IDRIC research projects, along with a dedicated policy roundtable, to explore the potential, the challenges, and the future direction of industrial electrification in the UK.
