Dr Antonios Katris

Principal Investigator

Centre for Energy Policy, University of Strathclyde

Aim

The aim of this project is to provide insight on the competitiveness and wider economy impacts driven by the approach used in implementing CCUS for industrial decarbonisation. The project will also explore the effect of prevailing economic conditions on industrial decarbonisation actions, including the availability of sufficiently qualified labour and the availability of government support, and how outcomes are affected whether or not similar decarbonisation practices have been adopted internationally.
