Join us for MaxStoreUK’s webinar series hosted by BGS and IDRIC.
We are holding three place-based webinars, 1 hour in length, on the MaxStoreUK carbon (CO2) and hydrogen geological storage opportunities.
This webinar will highlight past learnings from previous research subsurface hydrogen and carbon projects and share new updates to enable cross-sector collaboration and accelerate industrial decarbonisation for the Scotland cluster and the wider UK. Speakers from BGS, Heriot-Watt University and the University of Manchester will present their research, followed by a short Q&A session.
- Maxine Akhurst, BGS: Northern & Central North Sea CO2 storage – CO2Stored 2.0 updates and planned 2.1 refresh
- Jonathan Pearce, BGS: UK capacity for imported CO2 storage & appraisal timeline for Central Northern North Sea
- John Williams, BGS: The Central North Sea, a frontier region for large-scale CO2 storage?
- Lin Ma, University of Manchester: Hydrogen storage research in MaxStoreUK
