In our Humber Cluster webinar, we will focus on the role of local universities in supporting the cluster to decarbonise and enhancing industry-academia collaborations in the region.
The webinar will share the outcomes of some of IDRIC’s key projects based in the cluster:
* Diversity to decarbonise: promoting EDI in the future workforce, Professor James Gilbert, University of Hull
* Determining optimum pyrolysis condition for biochar to be used as metallurgical coal replacement: in support of deep decarbonisation of large industrial emitters based within the Humber cluster, Dr Amir Badiee, University of Lincoln (collaboration with British Steel)
* Inspiring young minds: work skills readiness for decarbonisation in the Humber, Dr Redouane Sarrakh, University of Lincoln
We will also feature an update from IDRIC’s secondees from local industry into the University of Lincoln, who are working strategically to build an ecosystem for industry-academia collaboration in the region.
