The UK’s Industrial Decarbonisation Research & Innovation Centre (IDRIC) are hosting a webinar to share the findings of some of IDRIC’s key projects supporting industrial decarbonisation in the Black Country Industry Cluster, including:
- Systems, infrastructure and technologies for providing low-carbon fuels, Dr Tom Fender, University of Birmingham
- Establishing an inter-cluster batchwise carbon capture and storage network in the UK, Dr Denis Martins Fraga, Imperial College
- Creating a carbon framework for a decarbonised circular economy, Dr Lewis McDonald, University of Bath
Matthew Rhodes, Director of the Black Country Industrial Cluster will share updates and progress from within the cluster and feed back on how IDRIC’s projects can support its transition to net zero.
The webinar will be chaired by Dr Jonathan Radcliffe, University of Birmingham (IDRIC’s Academic Cluster Lead for the Black Country Industrial Cluster)
