Join us at our roundtable on geological hydrogen policy on Thursday 8 October in collaboration with British Geological Survey and The University of Manchester.
The UK’s geological storage resource is amongst the largest in Europe, making subsurface storage key to achieving Net Zero. Hydrogen storage is an emerging policy priority and timely stakeholder engagement is essential to build a shared understanding on policy options, informed by research evidence and industry challenges.
The sessions will focus on:
- policy priorities for developing longer term storage opportunities (including porous rock)
- opportunities for cross-sector collaboration
- relevant funding options, infrastructure and transport and storage needs
A policy briefing will collate the results of the roundtable for wider dissemination and awareness raising.
