The IDRIC-1: Industrial Decarbonisation Showcase is taking place on 6th & 7th June in Edinburgh (Heriot-Watt Campus, EH14 4AS).

Registration is now open via Eventbrite

This event is bringing together the UK industrial clusters and researchers to discuss research and innovation activities, impact and opportunities to achieve industrial decarbonisation and reach net zero targets.

There is no cost to attend in person but we would expect all attendees to be working actively in decarbonisation research, industry or a supporting agency/institution.

Panel discussions will be held on Policy & Regulation, Legal Aspects, Green Finance, Skills & Training, Low Carbon Technologies, Systems & Scale-up, Social Aspects & Public Engagement & Environmental Considerations. With speakers from industry, academia and funding bodies we hope to stimulate lively discussions on the solutions and challenges towards net zero. There will be excellent opportunities for networking including a dinner event on Monday 6th (places limited) and evening drinks event on Tuesday 7th.

As the first in-person meeting of the IDRIC community, we are encouraging physical attendance to the meeting. An option to join some of the sessions in a limited way online will be available, however this will by no means cover all of the events and activities planned during the meetings. The registration link provides the option to select virtual attendance and more details on this including meeting links will be shared at a later date. Registration will close on the 20th May, however places for the dinner are limited, so you are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Information on the location of the venue and local hotel and transport options, is here.
